so i’m a bit late posting the report… again. not that i’m lazy all the time, i’ve just been a bit lazy in the writing department this week. lots of visitors and online work has kept me a bit occupied. new items arrived this week including the Titanium Ball Differential Shaft by Kyosho + the Screwdriver Bit from X-Power and old friends stopped thru for club racing. Andy Eyrtl is a 1/8th scale driver from Germany who’s in Pattaya to watch the IFMAR 1/8th Nitro Off-Road World Champs being held here at Pattaya R/C Powerboat. this is a special event and because of its significance, R/C fans and top drivers from around the world are pouring into the area. PRC is only a few minutes away from NanoTrax, so a few of them have stopped by to see what’s up with R/C in the area. Andy raced with us and plans to do so again while he’s in town. currently, i’m discussing the possibility of our making a field trip to check out the grand final, i expect we’ll re-schedule our club race and enjoy the excitement on Sunday, November 14. as far as the club race, it ended as expected with RobbyDV coming away with the top spot, Dahm in 2nd and i placed 3rd followed by Andy E, Ian and Andy G. i plan on making some moves for the next club race… look for different results in the next club race ;-)

we had a few young visitors stop by as well, they enjoyed racing on F2L in the 2nd floor lounge. its always good to have well behaved kids with good manners come by and bring us joy when observing them playing with our ‘big kid toys’! oh, the cake? that’s for Hugh… he only had the strength to marshal our club race and wolf down some of his birthday cake. he refused to tell us his age but i doubt we’d be able to fit all the candles on the mini confection kindly purchased & prepped by Joom.
