shortly after my original post, ‘coming of age’ disappeared due to a hard drive crash during a server backup.  for the past week or so, i’ve been working feverishly to recover from that unfortunate incident and we’re still feeling the pain in the form of a pile of missing data & a broken forum.  we’ll need to start fresh with new discussions and i needed to repost this topic because it’s special in a way.  Calvin celebrated his 15th birthday on arrival in Thailand with a visit to nanotrax and after Sunday’s club race, we enjoyed cake and draft beers on the house – Calvin had a coca-cola with his cake.  Ian, Dahm & Olaf showed up for the race and festivities which meant we had just enough drivers to make the race interesting.  i found the perfect setup for my Nissan Fairlady Z, drove consistently and finally picked up a win after a long drought.  Ian pushed hard and bested Dahm, followed by Olaf & Calvin.  we’ve already determined our champion for this season so we’ll start recording points once again in 2011 at the beginning of Season 4.  the data loss isn’t a bad thing, it’s prepared me for the future and forced me to  make improvements to the blog’s backend and caused me to streamline checkout at our online shop.  the most recent race report will be posted to the forum shortly after a few bugs are worked out. we’ll our awards party on Sunday, January 2 – see ya then!
