ok, so i’ve been a bit lazy on the race reports lately but i have a good excuse…. well, no… i don’t have a good excuse, i’ve been hungover twice the past week, rent is due & i’ve been hustling to work that out and i finally saw my son (Nalani) after my ex ran off with him for 16 months. a bit of personal drama mixed in with laziness have contributed to my late reports, but here i am, and here they are. in my photo gallery below, you’ll note there’s a new wheel hub hex tool (by X-Power), new Lexan T-Plates (3 of 4, by Atomic), the Corvette C6-R that i said i’d be building, our new member Andy from Sweden and a few shots of the guys after the latest club race. all of our meets have been fun, but pretty much dominated by our visiting professional miniature scale R/C driver, Robby DV. there’s no shame in his kicking our ass because -if you didn’t know already- he’s one of the top 5 Mini-Z drivers in Europe. we all get better as a result of these multiple beatings so, there’s no hard feelings. many of our members are missing in action at the moment due to work or other recreational activities (i.e. GIRLS), but i’m constantly working to locate the R/C addicts who visit from around the world. the 1/8th Scale IFMAR Off Road World Championships is being held in Pattaya next month so i hope R/C fans will spill over for a taste of Mini RC as well. enjoy the pics, here are the official results from our last two club races:
