my nitro racing adventure continued on sunday with a visit to New RC in Bangkok. Will has been my mechanic, hooking up the Mugen MBX5T enabling me to put in a respectable performance in a one-day meet with 9 drivers in the truggy/monster truck class. i arrived on saturday morning and we spent the afternoon familiarizing ourselves with the new layout. i planned on getting back to Pattaya for the club race @ nanotrax but i missed a good race at home with 5 participating drivers including our new member, Pop! he’ll get his car together sometime this week and i hope he’ll become one of our top drivers… that’s how the young ones do it – if they’re committed – they’ll quickly move to the top with fearless play and nerves of steel. Dahm picked up another win in my absence followed by Olaf, Ian, Brian & Pop. this week i’ll be constructing a new layout so expect with photos by Friday. we had a lot of new visitors just stopping by to enjoy a bit of family fun as spectators for the club race. father and son, moms, cousins, friends… everyone is always welcome. if you’d like to stop by during club races, they’re normally held on Sundays starting with qualifying @ 5pm and running the final @ 6:15pm. spectators are encouraged to visit for food, drinks & fun, race participation is not required!
i’m happy about getting the chance to race 1/8th scale again. it gives me the chance to make new friends and enjoy racing r/c in an a whole new way. Neo is a 15-yr old kid who reminds me of my own son Paris (Neo’s older, but they’re about the same size). he raced 2 classes at the meet so he was busy, but we chatted about r/c in general and he hopes to visit nanotrax and join other young r/c fans now pouring in for a look at what the fuss is about. all the finals were hotly contested but none more than the 1/8th buggy which was taken by Yuthana (Winner + TQ), a regular on the podium in Thai 1/8th Off Road Buggy. i’m looking forward to the next race but my first love is dnano and i’ll have more for you in the way of new product releases and tuning tips in the coming months. as always, feel free to contact me for any of your concerns by sending an e-mail to qon@nanotrax.net – check the forum for the latest Drivers’ Championship Standings.

I hope that you will come to bangkok again.and race the 1/8 truggy or buggy
with us in New Rc.We have a race like this every month.We also have a good time with you and Mr will.please come and visit us again.
